As part of this work package 4, a training activity has been planned in which each project archival partner will host a two-day hybrid workshop (in-person and virtual), focused on the following thematic areas:
- Day 1: Disaster Risk Management in Archives
- Day 2: Sustainability and Climate Change in Archives
The initiative aims to strengthen capacities, promote resilient and sustainable approaches to records management, and encourage knowledge exchange among archival professionals.
We are pleased to announce that this workshop, will be held on October 30 and 31, 2025, as a side activity to the International Congress of Archives, which will also take place in Barcelona from October 27 to 30. The event will bring together national and international experts to discuss strategies, case studies, and sustainable practices for safeguarding documentary and built heritage in the face of climate change and other risks.
