Munster Technological University (MTU) is a multi-campus institution with six locations across Cork and Kerry, serving 18,000 students. It offers flexible full-time, part-time, and online programs across various disciplines, including art, business, engineering, humanities, music, maritime studies, and science.
MTU’s Department of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) supports the integration of technology in both online and classroom learning. Formerly known as DEIS, TEL focuses on educational innovation, including authentic assessments, learning portfolios, and workplace partnerships. As part of the SAGA project, MTU will also involve its Clean Technology Centre (CTC), established in 1992, which is a leader in sustainability, waste prevention, and cleaner production in Ireland.
