Objectives
Work Package 5 (WP5) “Project Communication and Participation”, under the coordination of DEX, will contribute to reach the target groups outlined and give visibility to the activities, results, and EU support of the project. Further to the implementation of the previous work packages, all conclusions and recommendations will be shared.
WP5 is clearly linked to all main objectives of the project, namely:
- To give visibility to the pilot actions in documentary institutions by implementing risk management policies and green practices in order to adapt to the current times.
- To give visibility to capacity-building activities in order to reach professionals and decision-makers.
- To contribute to the attraction and engagement of new audiences by promoting activities involving the archival sector.
WP5 is also linked to all specific objectives identified under chapter 1.2 (Needs Analysis), and will contribute to the:
- Distribution and sharing of results of research, innovation, specialisation (data management, use of tools, etc.)
- Promotion of new ways to balance documentary heritage with sustainable practices and raise awareness in this issue.
- Promotion of cooperation between beneficiaries including knowledge exchange, information, and good practices through dissemination activities
Communication Plan and Visual Identity
A communication plan will be developed to identify target groups, define key messages and propose different communication tools and activities, as well as describe how communication results will be measured.
E- Communication & Social Networking
This activity will result in the project website and the e-communication strategy. Each output and activity of the project will be available on both the project and beneficiaries websites, as well as communicated through the social networks of each partner.
Audio-visual materials
This activity will result in the production of audio visual materials which will provide visibility of the project activities including short videos and imagery recorded at archive institutions, workshops and specific events of the project.
Hybrid Exhibitions
This activity will result in two exhibitions, one related to natural and man-made disasters and the other on past and present sustainability. . Exhibitions will remain open for at least two months at each partner archive institution.
Transfer or results
This activity will result in partners presenting the main outcomes and results of the project at international networking events, as well the development of two ad hoc project events to launch, discuss and promote the policy and governance actions identified in previous project activities, and to share project results and created tools to European counterparts.
